A Walk In The Park


Well here it is, this one has taken us ages and ages to record, some really awkward keys, timing signiatures,harmony lines and trying new arrangements, it's pretty hard when you can't afford a Producer and hope that you get it right, much music was left on the cutting room floor and a big thank you to Ben Van Weede who played violin on half the tracks including harmony and counter lines, only to be credited with a bit of pizzicato on Flamenco Red, after a lot of musical score writings as well.



This  was a bit of directional change for TBFMS (well our Publisher thought so) and we have added additional percussion from Dave and Slide Guitar courtesy of Chris Billings on 4 of the tracks, and doing our best to avoid clutter a the same time, Dave kept reminding us that less is more and we also tried hard not to give it that cliche'd country feel but give a very different Boys From Melbourne Street sound. The feed back from Download Companies and Radio DJ's is that it works pretty well and we think so to. " A Walk In the Park" not only gives variety of melodic and catchy tunes but also flows effortlessly from one track to another" Doug Parish from 10 Radio (thanks Doug) 



Influences for this album starts with  "Ride With Me" which is about my car, an aging Beemer convertible which still manages to give me a feeling of freedom and escape everytime I drop the hood and hit the roads in glorious sunshine, so thank you BMW, if enough people buy the album I may be able to afford a newer one.( Maybe they could sponser us)
