Always in the wrong place at the wrong time, Never Ending Road was recorded  at Woodstock Studios just outside of Oxford, with half the Frank Yonko band playing and BJ Cole on pedal steel and a right bastard of a producer, mixed at National studios with a couple of extra backing voices, they removed one verse and split another into two and spliced the two halves onto another verse, result = Look what they done to my song Ma, so I will have to look at the original lyrics to tell you what this is all about, I know I was back in Canada trying to locate someone (no names)

And the wrong time and place was the music festival in Cannes where all the publishers go, almost got signed to a Japanese label until they heard Johnny Rotten wailing in the background, punk was born, folk and country was dead for a long time, but I'm not bitter (much)
